NEW DELHI: Indian smartphone brand Lava has launched another entry-level smartphone, A56, in India. The company has priced the device at Rs 4,199 and it will be available with all big retailers across the country.
. . The dual-SIM Lava A56 runs on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system out-of-the-box. The smartphone features a 5-inch FWVGA display with 480x854 pixel resolution. Powering the handset is a 1.3GHz dual-core processor coupled with 512MB of RAM. Lava A56 offers 4GB of internal storage and the users can expand it up to 32GB by installing a microSD card.

. The new Lava smartphone sports a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and VGA front-facing camera. The device packs 1,850 mAh battery and offers 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as connecitivity options.

The dual-SIM handset is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB RAM. It offers 8GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded up to 32GB by installing a microSD card.

The device also supports LTE bands in India - FDD-LTE Band 3 (1800MHz), Band 5, and TDD-LTE Band 40 (2300MHz). It also supports VoLTE (voice over LTE) with HD voice call compatibility and can support Reliance Jio network.
